Compliance Management International (CMI) Academic Scholarship Program for IUP Safety Science and Environmental Engineering Students
Are you passionate about Safety Science or Environmental Engineering? Compliance Management International (CMI), a premier global provider of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) services, is excited to announce an academic scholarship program for students dedicated to improving safety and environmental standards.
About the Scholarship:
CMI has been at the forefront of collaborating with organizations, including Fortune 500 companies and governments, to enhance productivity, minimize risks, and ensure regulatory compliance for 30 years and now, we are offering scholarships to students who share our commitment to safety and the environment.
Scholarships offerings:
- Leadership Scholarship $5,000
- Health & Safety $2,500
- Environmental Studies $2,500
- Five General Awards at $1,000
Eligibility Requirements:
- Minimum GPA: 3.0
- Field of Study: Safety Science or Environmental Engineering
- Commitment: Demonstrated dedication to your program of study
- Year of study: Open to all years of study
- Must be currently enrolled as a student at IUP with a major study in either Safety Sciences or Environmental Engineering
Application Requirements:
- Transcripts showing your academic progress
- A short essay (500 words or less) describing your passion for safety and or the environment
- Professional Resume, demonstrated involvement in the safety and or environmental community through internships, employment, or volunteer work aimed at promoting safety awareness, education, or initiatives.
Application Opening Date: October 15th, 2024
Application Deadline Date: December 1st, 2024
Award Date Announcements: On or about December 20th, 2024
Awards will be paid out Spring 2025!!
The IUP Scholarship Selection Committee is comprised of executive members from Compliance Management International, along with IUP Safety Science and Environmental alumni. These committee members bring valuable industry expertise from renowned organizations such as Whiting-Turner, Microsoft, Turner Construction, and others.
Your application, including your resume and credentials, will be reviewed by seasoned safety and environmental professionals. Many of these committee members have years of experience in the safety and environmental fields and are actively involved in hiring for their organizations.
