Polymer/Porous Materials Intern
Schrödinger seeks a Polymer or Porous Materials Intern to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods!
As a member of our Materials Science team, you’ll augment the group’s skill in the area of molecular simulations of amorphous or crystalline materials.

What you’ll do:
- Contribute scientific study related to gas and liquid uptake into porous materials
- Execute parameter sensitivity study for properties of amorphous and crystalline materials
- Write your own Python scripts to support above tasks
What you should have:
- Extensive academic background in chemistry, physics, materials science, or a related field (we’re seeking someone who’s working on or has received a PhD)
- Experience with classical force field molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo techniques

Estimated base salary: $7,500/mo. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs.
