Science and Technology Support Scientist
We’re looking to hire a Science and Technology Support Scientist to join us in our mission to improve human health and quality of life through the development, distribution, and application of advanced computational methods.
Schrödinger is on the cutting edge of computer-aided drug discovery and materials science. We set the record for the largest and fastest cloud computing run, and our software suites continue to revolutionize the design of therapeutics and materials. FEP+, WaterMap, Glide, Maestro, and LiveDesign are just a few examples of the tools we’ve created.
As a member of our Scientific Support team, you’ll provide scientific and technical support to life-science customers ranging from large pharma companies to biotechs, as well as academic institutions. By closely monitoring issues of interest to our users, you'll play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Who will love this job:
- A computational chemist with experience in molecular dynamics simulations and/or the application of molecular modeling software tools to biologics research
- An enthusiastic user of Desmond, Amber, GROMACS, and/or CHARMM

What you’ll do:
- Provide expert scientific guidance and technical assistance to the Schrödinger user community
- Troubleshoot user difficulties and resolve technical issues related to the application of our software
- Guide the technical deployment of Schrödinger software in high-performance computing environments
- Log and track problems and enhancement requests
- Channel feedback to the development teams, ensuring our software continues to meet the evolving needs of the scientific community
What you should have:
- PhD in computational chemistry (preferably with a background in Biologics)
- Excellent English language skills (both verbal and written)
