Product Manager, Materials Science AI and Machine Learning

New York; Portland; San Diego

Schrödinger seeks a Materials Science Machine Learning Product Manager to join us in our mission to transform the discovery of materials and therapeutics.

As a member of the Materials Science (MS) Machine Learning (ML) team, you’ll manage the development of AI and ML products, combining deep domain knowledge in chemistry, machine learning, and the software industry to grow our products and business in aerospace, consumer goods, electronics, specialty chemicals, and other industries.

What you’ll do:

  • Interface with existing and potential customers to demonstrate how our software accelerates MS research
  • Provide guidance and roadmap planning to grow our current offerings into new areas of MS
  • Develop new ML models to support new customer acquisition
  • Manage our existing MS ML team

What you should have:

  • PhD in Materials Science, Computational Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
  • Deep practical background in both MS and ML
  • Experience working within the software industry and with customers
  • Enthusiasm for traveling to and interacting with customers globally

Estimated base salary range: $200,000 - $275,000. Actual compensation package is dependent on a number of factors, including, for example, experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs.
