Field Clinical Engineer

We are seeking a strongly motivated Field Clinical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in serving as a technical and administrative expert for our clinical trials. They will plan and support clinical device testing and procedures at clinical sites. As a liaison between clinics and our company, the Field Clinical Engineer will need to confidently and diplomatically communicate with a diverse audience to support our goal of performing clinical studies.
Role responsibilities:
- Support the execution of clinical trials at Science and in clinical sites.
- Train and provide technical support for device tuning and re-education at clinical sites
- Act as a liaison between R&D, physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Support and monitor implantation procedures and psychophysical testing at clinical sites
- Manage data entry as well as documentation of deviations and adverse events,
- Advise on the design of clinical protocols, CRFs, and Patient Informed Consent Form
- Participate in the preparation of clinical protocols, analysis and reports,
- Provision of documents to support Regulatory Submissions, and supervision regulatory submission,
- Assist sales after approval of the devices
Key qualifications:
- Excellent technical understanding
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with a diverse audience in English and German
- Willingness to travel between 50-75% of the time
- Ability to work flexible hours and locations to accommodate clinical schedules and site needs
- A relevant scientific degree (minimum Bachelor, preferred Master in Engineering or Medical Science)
Preferred qualifications:
- Full professional proficiency in French or other European languages
- Live locally near our office in Paris or have a home base in Germany
