
Talent Management, Sourcer

Science is looking for a talent management specialist/sourcer who shares our vision and is eager to become a true partner as we grow our company. Having an exceptional sourcer is critical to driving our work forward, ensuring we are bringing leaders in the field to join our team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Create strategies to identify, engage and draw in the best talent through sourcing, referrals, phone screening, and pipeline management.
- Apply, measure, and consistently improve metrics on monthly/quarterly individual hiring objectives
- Innovate on sourcing and recruiting strategies, recommending process adjustments, new tools and best practices
- Meet with and coach hiring managers with sourcing, referrals, offer details, closing, and help team do the same
- Seek and maintain a thorough understanding of our Science teams’ technical requirements, acknowledging qualitative as well as quantitative hiring needs
- Be keenly aware of industry trends and competitive landscape, recommending involvement in relevant tech communities
- Ensure timely information and data integrity in our tracking systems
- Build relationships with hiring managers to discuss headcount, new requisitions, hiring strategy, and interview feedback.
Key Qualifications:
- Significant technical recruiting experience in startups or large firms competing with relevant technology industries
- 3+ years managing and/or mentoring recruiters, sourcing staff, and recruiting coordinators
- Proven track record of identifying and closing difficult to attract candidates
- Deep knowledge across the entire candidate lifecycle, from talent mapping, research, sourcing, interviewing, to closing
- Experience working closely with technical team leadership and the ability to build strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates
- Data driven, with experience in strategic planning, diagnosing pipeline health and funnel conversion rates, implementing processes to measure recruiting metrics
- Exceptional at follow-through, detail orientation, resolve, and able to work well in a fast growing and changing environment
- Excellent communicator, able to apply tact and diplomacy in all situations
- Solid presentation skills, able to leverage data to influence decision making
- Proficient with recruiting tools, systems, ATS (Greenhouse)
- Genuinely passionate and curious about the biotech industry and an investment in learning the technical fundamentals of the positions for which you are hiring.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical recruiting experience in hardware, software, or highly specialized roles.
- Experience using Greenhouse
- Success operating in a start-up environment with autonomy.
Science is considering applicants on both a full time and contractural basis for this role.
Salary/Pay Range:
For individuals hired to work in California, Science is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. We determine your level based on your interview performance and make an offer based on geo-located salary bands. The base salary range for this full-time position is $84,000 - $150,000 annually + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please keep in mind that the equity portion of the offer is not included in these numbers.
