POSITION OVERVIEW

Through our solutions; Direct-to- Patient Site and Patient Recruitment, we accelerate enrollment by expanding the reach of clinical trials to patients beyond the traditional site and rigorously qualifying patients prior to referring them to a traditional site. Our solutions are powered by in-house medical and operational experts that enhance quality through standardized workflows and best-in-class study orchestration.

The Strategic Solutions Manager is a key member of the Commercial team, responsible for identifying, targeting, and securing new business through professional, consultative, proactive, and strategic communications driving business and building high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Collaborate with outside sales professionals to jointly identify key accounts and develop both territory and account penetration plans.
  2. Execute on territory and account plans by identifying and strategically targeting influencers and decision makers through professional, proactive sales activities to drive the top-end of the sales funnel.
  3. Work with cross-functional teams to drive results through relationship management, ensuring high levels of understanding how our model helps clients achieve their goals, fostering customer buy in, and eventual satisfaction and loyalty.
  4. Leverage relationships to develop and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities and accounts.
  5. Collaborate with senior management and functional managers to ensure high levels of transparency and accountability.
  6. Research and identify target markets, build relationships, perform in-depth presentations, strategic analysis, and execution of implemented plans.
  7. Assist marketing team in lead generation efforts, message positioning, and prospect development efforts ahead of, during, and following industry events.
  8. Effectively leverage company resources/tools to maximize business results (marketing materials, speaker programs, regional trade shows, etc.).
  9. Demonstrate a high level of accountability for all administrative tasks (CRM utilization, weekly reports, meeting tracking and qualification, etc.).
  10. Develop and manage key cross-functional relationships, including senior leadership.
  11. Work with management to drive the strategy, implementation, adoption and ensure efficiency in the sales process.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Qualifications 

The following qualifications are preferred and/or equivalent applicable experience:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in business administration, strategic marketing, or Operations fields.
  2. 1+ years Business Development, Strategic Marketing or Operations experience, preferably in B2B with focus on site management and/or patient recruitment.
  3. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, clinical trials, and drug development and commercialization (strongly preferred)
  4. Demonstrated high degree of leadership skills that allow the individual to build relationships, communicate, and influence all levels of the organization and make positive change
  5. Proven track record of delivering results and meeting targets in a highly competitive environment
  6. Proven track record of achieving/surpassing role-oriented goals and objectives
  7. Expertise in creating, driving, and executing solutions by defining all elements from strategy to implementation
  8. Knowledge of and experience with CRM tools/platforms and ability to utilize the CRM tool provided to manage contacts and opportunities/funnels
  9. Excellent strategic business/industry awareness and a thorough understanding of trends and impact on the business; ability to translate emerging industry trends relevant to the organization
  10. Proven successful track record at developing mid-level and high-level contacts
  11. Demonstrated ability to evaluate and create opportunities, develop effective selling messages, presentations and proposals
  12. Excellent skills using Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  13. Ability to communicate fluently in English (both verbal and written)
  14. Ability to travel 10% of time
  15. Experience working with systems like LinkedIn Navigator, Salesforce, Zymewire, and familiarity with sales enablement tools like Groove, Outreach.io are a plus.

  1. Strong communication and presentation skills – Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor. Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly, both orally and in writing. 
  2. Computer skills - Working knowledge of MS Office suite and Google applications. Able to generate business correspondence, create forms and generate reports as required. Proficiency with MS PowerPoint required. 
  3. Knowledge of field organizational strategies - The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment. Successful decentralized team management and situational responsive decision-making.
  4. Interpersonal Savvy - Understands interpersonal and group dynamics and reacts in an effective and tactful manner. Has a range of interpersonal skills and approaches with ability to select a best-fit approach. 
  5. Practices professionalism and integrity in all actions – Demonstrated ability to foster concepts of teamwork, cooperation, self- control, and flexibility to get the work done. The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment. Able to successfully work in a decentralized team environment. Skilled in situational responsive decision-making.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and people skills- Communicate ideas effectively to resolve conflicts and achieve business goals. 
  7. Practices professionalism and integrity in all actions – Demonstrated ability to foster concepts of teamwork, cooperation, self- control, and flexibility to get the work done.
  8. Accountability and Dependability - Trust is absolutely key in our culture. You can be trusted to follow through on commitments, and own your timelines and deliverables.
  9. Ability to work independently, self-directed, strong work ethic and adherence to deadlines.
  10. Ability to be flexible and capable of working independently or as part of a team. 

Capabilities 

  1. Up to 50% travel, as needed, for project team meetings, client presentations and other professional meetings/conferences as needed
  2. Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written)
