Survey Designer Analyst (Patient Recruitment)

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for a dedicated and analytical Survey Designer Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in optimizing our patient recruitment efforts for clinical trials by utilizing advanced analytical techniques and data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of clinical trial processes and will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure recruitment goals are met efficiently and effectively.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Recruitment Surveys Development: Create and support testing of surveys used for recruitment. Ability to work with various survey programs to create, manage and own entire development and survey amendment process.  
  2. Analytical Focus: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in patient recruitment.
  3. Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on recruitment metrics, progress, and projections to senior management and other stakeholders.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, data management, and marketing, to align recruitment strategies with overall project goals.
  5. Proposal Support: Collaborate with the proposals team to provide robust data and insights that enhance the feasibility and success of patient recruitment strategies.
  6. Funnel Building: Design and implement recruitment funnels to monitor and optimize the patient recruitment pipeline.
  7. Recruitment Curves: Develop and analyze recruitment curves to forecast and track recruitment progress, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  8. Diversity Mapping: Generate and maintain diversity maps to promote inclusive recruitment practices and ensure a diverse patient population.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Qualifications 

The following qualifications are preferred and/or equivalent applicable experience:

  1. Proven experience in project kickoff, including organizing projects and tracking progress across various cross-collaborative teams. 
  2. Experience working in various software programs to build surveys. Experience in Jotform is a plus. 
  3. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  5. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  7. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and ethical considerations in clinical trials is a plus.
  8. Experience in patient recruitment for clinical trials, with a strong analytical background is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline).
  2. Experience with advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  3. Familiarity with clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.

    1. Strong communication and presentation skills – Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor. Must have the ability to communicate accurately and clearly, both orally and in writing. 
    2. Computer skills - Working knowledge of MS Office suite and Google applications. Able to generate business correspondence, create forms and generate reports as required. Proficiency with MS PowerPoint required. 
    3. Knowledge of field organizational strategies - The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment. Successful decentralized team management and situational responsive decision-making.
    4. Extensive knowledge of clinical research - Understands the drug development process. Knowledgeable about the critical elements for success in clinical trials; participation in and contribution to these activities. 
    5. Team management and collaborative capabilities – Commitment to collaboration, within and across departments. Leverages each team member’s unique background and perspective to achieve team goals while providing clear direction and accountabilities.
    6. Interpersonal Savvy - Understands interpersonal and group dynamics and reacts in an effective and tactful manner. Has a range of interpersonal skills and approaches with ability to select a best-fit approach. 
    7. Practices professionalism and integrity in all actions – Demonstrated ability to foster concepts of teamwork, cooperation, self- control, and flexibility to get the work done. The ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment. Able to successfully work in a decentralized team environment. Skilled in situational responsive decision-making.
    8. Excellent problem-solving and people skills- Communicate ideas effectively to resolve conflicts and achieve business goals. 
    9. Practices professionalism and integrity in all actions – Demonstrated ability to foster concepts of teamwork, cooperation, self- control, and flexibility to get the work done.
    10. Ability to work independently, self-directed, strong work ethic and adherence to deadlines.
    11. Ability to be flexible and capable of working independently or as part of a team. 

      Capabilities 

      1. Up to 10% travel, as needed, for project team meetings, client presentations and other professional meetings/conferences as needed
      2. Ability to communicate in English (both verbal and written)
