Scopely is looking for a Producer, Product for an ambitious, unannounced title, mobile first RPG in the US on a remote basis.

What you will do:

  • Lead and organize daily standups, playtesting sessions and other regularly scheduled meetings for your team.
  • Assure feedback is logged, communicated and prioritized between product owners and development teams.
  • Initiate, foster, maintain, and manage positive working relationships with internal and external organizations that are critical to both current and future development processes.
  • Communicate goals and team principles to cultivate a stimulating and enjoyable work environment and culture.
  • Identify process pain points and collaborate with product managers, discipline leads, and other producers to implement changes that enhance both quality and transparency in project deliverables.
  • Ensure clear project definitions and criteria for completion are established.
  • Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet required quality standards.
  • Drive decision-making with the product managers and ensure communication and alignment with production and discipline leads.
  • Collaborate with discipline partners to execute roadmap items and drive project execution at the team or pod level.
  • Ensure Product goals and Design goals are clearly communicated and documented as part of the design and pre-production process. 
  • Identify improvement opportunities and propose solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Create, plan, and manage team capacity while tracking throughput and velocity. 
  • Monitor and report progress weekly. Oversee risks and mitigation strategies while proactively working to eliminate blockers.

What we are looking for:

  • 6+ years experience working in cross-functional development teams. At least 3 years experience as a Producer within the video game industry, mobile gaming and live-operations preferred. 
  • Proven experience in production management, resource management, or a similar role within a game development project.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to collaborate and drive others towards making quick decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-starter with out-of-the-box thinking. The ability to be flexible and pivot quickly is helpful.
  • Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to assess individual and team skills to be a force multiplier for the team.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience in capacity planning, cost estimation, and budgeting for projects.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro.
  • Experience collaborating with design, engineering, and QA teams.
  • Experience launching and maintaining live-operations for mobile games.
  • Understanding of analytics, game economy, game design.
  • Passionate about games, particularly mobile games.
  • Agile/Scrum certification is a plus (e.g., Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner) but a good understanding of concepts and utilizations is preferred.

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA, the annual salary range is provided below. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$81,000 - $105,000 USD
