Senior Product Manager (Performance) - Star Trek Fleet Command

ES - Spain; GB - United Kingdom; IE - Ireland; PT - Portugal

Scopely is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Star Trek™ Fleet Command team within our Midcore division in either Ireland, Spain, Portugal, or the UK on a hybrid/remote basis.

At Scopely, we care deeply about what we do and want to inspire play every day, whether in our work environments alongside our talented colleagues or through our deep connections with our communities of players. We are a global team of game lovers developing, publishing, and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

Star Trek Fleet Command's ongoing success goes from strength to strength. Our in-house developed 4X MMO was launched in 2018 and continues to evolve, being consistently one of the top 10 gross revenue Massive Multiplayer Strategy games on the market.

What You Will Do

As the Senior Product Manager, you will be the product owner for key monetisation and engagement initiatives across the live game. This includes driving the roadmap and execution of our monthly events, sales cadence, and player-facing features, ensuring they are cohesive, compelling, and highly performant. You will work cross-functionally with Game Design, Product Marketing, Product Ops, Economy Design, and Data Science teams to define, prioritise, and deliver exceptional player experiences that meet business and player goals.

  • Own the content and performance strategy for our monthly events and offers, aligning them to player motivations, economic balance, and business KPIs
  • Define and manage the monthly content calendar, collaborating with Product Ops, Art, and Design to deliver high-quality, on-time experiences
  • Use data and experimentation to optimise monetisation, engagement, and retention across a broad player lifecycle—from new users to end-game whales
  • Deeply understand player behaviour across multiple geos and platforms to ensure we deliver value through personalisation and segmentation strategies
  • Work closely with the economy and systems design teams to ensure content aligns with long-term progression goals and avoids inflation
  • Partner with UX, Research, and Community teams to develop empathy for player sentiment and pain points, and translate them into actionable product improvements
  • Develop clear documentation and KPIs for live operations, continuously iterating on performance with a test-and-learn mindset
  • Build business cases for major new initiatives and content verticals, including competitive research and revenue forecasting
  • Mentor junior PMs and contribute to a culture of product excellence and cross-functional collaboration.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive experience in product management, ideally with significant live operations responsibility in a F2P mobile game
  • Demonstrated success managing complex monetisation and engagement systems, with extensive experience in event design, sales strategy, or player lifecycle management
  • Data-native mindset, with the ability to translate raw performance metrics into strategic insights and actionable plans
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven track record of aligning diverse teams around a shared product vision
  • Strong player empathy and experience working with user research, community feedback, or other voice-of-player channels
  • Experience driving impact across cross-functional pods, including creative, design, and engineering teams

Bonus Points

  • Experience in live operations for long-running games or large-scale MMOs.
  • Familiarity with segmentation frameworks, CRM tools, or behavioural targeting.
  • Background in product economics, systems design, or game design theory.
