Senior SQL Developer (Oracle)

We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer with strong experience in Oracle databases with focus in finance (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM) and procurement  tables (PO, PR) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing, optimizing, and maintaining SQL queries and reports, with a particular focus on financial and purchasing data. This role requires the ability to review and improve existing queries as well as develop new queries and reports to support business operations.

What you will do

• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and BI Reports in an Oracle fusion database environment

• Review, analyze, and improve existing SQL queries to enhance efficiency and performance

• Develop and maintain reports based on business needs, ensuring accuracy and reliability

• Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide effective solutions

• Troubleshoot and resolve existing query-related issues, ensuring data integrity and security

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial and purchasing operations through data analysis and reporting
• Document existing and new reports for knowledge sharing and compliance

What we are looking for

• Proven experience as an SQL Developer with strong expertise in Oracle databases

• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and BI reports.
• Strong understanding of Oracle fusion financial and purchasing tables in an enterprise database environment

• Ability to analyze and improve existing queries and reports for performance optimization

• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer, PL/SQL, and other Oracle database tools

• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Oracle BI Publisher
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience with Oracle ERP systems (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion) related to financial and purchasing modules

• Understanding of database administration concepts and performance tuning
