Fullstack Engineer - LiveOps Automation
Scopely is looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join our LiveOps Automation team within our Midcore division on a hybrid/remote basis.

You’ll be joining the LiveOps Automation team at Scopely, where we are shaping the next generation of game operations tools that utilize Machine Learning and AI to empower scalability, personalization, and efficiency through data-driven systems. Our mission is to unlock smarter, faster, and more impactful ways for game teams to manage LiveOps strategies. This role is pivotal in helping to define the future of Scopely’s game operations.
What You Will Do
- Work with LiveOps and other development teams in each game to implement new features
- Build scalable and consistent API services that support ML capabilities and integrate seamlessly across multiple game ecosystems
- Build intuitive UI interfaces for internal tools, ensuring they are well-tested and smoothly integrated with backend services.
- Work with other developers to implement tools to empower our Live Operators and Game Design teams in the creation of new and exciting gameplay experiences
- Live Services toolsuite support & troubleshooting
- Contributing to technical plans and discussing the workflows and requirements with stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- A good understanding of backend and frontend technologies development, and best practices
- 3+ years of experience delivering production-quality, highly performant web application platforms
- Knowledge of Python and React
- Experience writing and maintaining automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Full understanding of how to build and deploy RESTful services
- Full understanding of Relational Databases
- You've developed or co-designed web frontend tools and interfaces
- You’ve developed secure web applications with RBAC controls
- You’re a great tech communicator who knows how to share knowledge with non-technical people
- You have a desire to seek out and take on user feedback to drive world-class application development
- You love games!
Bonus Points
- Experience writing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for web applications
- Experience with Serverless architectures
- Experience working with ML systems and data pipelines
