Lead Technical Product Manager - LiveOps Automation

Scopely is looking for a Lead Technical Product Manager to join our LiveOps Automation team in Spain on a remote basis.

The LiveOps Automation team builds a suite of ML powered tools to enhance player experiences across Scopely’s Live Games Portfolio. This initiative has a long term impact on how games are operated, how game economies are balanced, and the experience of millions of daily active players.

What You Will Do

You’ll be joining the LiveOps Automation team at Scopely, where we are shaping the next generation of game operations tools that utilize Machine Learning and AI to empower scalability, personalization, and efficiency through data-driven systems. Our mission is to unlock smarter, faster, and more impactful ways for game teams to manage LiveOps strategies. The Lead Product Manager will support the utilization of our team's tools to define and coordinate impactful and meaningful LiveOps strategies into games, drive tool product strategy, and be a strong mentor for other PMs on the team.

  • Drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for scalable LiveOps strategies used across multiple games and teams
  • Partner cross-functionally with game teams, central tech, data science, and operations to define high-leverage product opportunities
  • Define and monitor product KPIs across games to continuously improve strategy effectiveness, operational efficiency, and tool adoption.
  • Make the best product and design decisions through data, user behavior, and industry best practices   
  • Own major feature release from conceptualization to feature launch and long-term feature maintenance, collaborating with all related subject matter experts   
  • Create compelling proposals for new Liveops strategies, tool features, and capabilities for game and tech teams to utilize
  • Address risks and leverage opportunities in newly released features and existing features
  • Be a leader and mentor for other PMs on the team and the team

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years in product, with a focus on transformative experiences and making data-informed decisions
  • Has driven and delivered impactful LiveOps strategies and products from 0 to 1
  • Experience working on large-scale products in highly KPI driven environments
  • Demonstrated ability to define long-term product strategy and deliver tangible business outcomes
  • Effective collaborators & multipliers to leverage and engage the team to bring the best work and product outcomes  
  • Strong leadership and influence skills; capable of aligning diverse stakeholders around a common vision and been an exemplary leader/menor to others
  • Experience working with Machine Learning products
  • Excellent ability to create clear and thought-through PRDs. Proficient in problem identification and root cause analysis
  • Default to challenge the status quo and push the boundary of best-known methods
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and resourceful   
  • Profound knowledge of development cycles and roadmaping   
  • You love games!

Bonus Points

  • Experience developing AI products
  • Background in data-rich environments with an emphasis on experimentation and optimization frameworks
