Intern - Game Design

Scopely is looking for a Game Design (Intern) to join our Bingo Bash team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis!

Bingo Bash is a highly international team working on the biggest video game from India to date (measured by revenue). Here, you will work on a top-grossing F2P game with significant and growing daily revenues and help create fresh content for our players.

What You Will Do

• Strong understanding of basic game design principles, such as player engagement, balancing, and progression.
• Creativity and problem-solving skills to conceptualize innovative bingo rooms and mini-games.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced design environment.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Passion for games, with a specific curiosity about casual and free-to-play (F2P) mechanics.

What We’re Looking For

• Design new bingo rooms with mini-games where players engage in activities based on resources collected during bingo gameplay.
• Collaborate with art, engineering, and design teams to bring concepts to life.
• Playtest and iterate on designs to improve the player experience.
• Analyze game metrics and feedback to improve and refine game features.
• Support the team in brainstorming and developing new gameplay mechanics and features.
• Basic understanding of game design documentation and prototyping tools (e.g., Unity, Excel, or PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with free-to-play games or mobile game mechanics is a plus.
• Analytical approach to interpret player data and feedback.
