Senior UI Artist - Yahtzee! With Buddies
Scopely is looking for a SR UI Artist to join our YAHTZEE! with Buddies team in Barcelona!

YAHTZEE! with Buddies is one of our casual free-to-play mobile games and is a classic board game with a new look. The team is based in Barcelona and Israel, and works every day to create captivating new experiences for our players.
What you will do:
- Create benchmark UI designs and mockups conceived by your exceptional creativity and implement them into Unity.
- Work with the Lead UI Designer to visualize various interface systems in our game and push UI improvement through the roadmap process.
- Work with Tech Leads to establish consistent pipelines for implementation.
- Collaborate closely with UX and Product teams to deliver impactful features and experiences.
- Proactively identify and propose UI improvements across the product.
- Create efficient and polished visual assets as needed.
- Provide UI Animation and UI Interaction Design.
- Be a strong advocate for UI Design and your team’s efforts.
- Deliver and implement assets in the right quality, format, and timeframe so all team members are able to access and use them.
- Manage all User Interface assets for the game, fully in charge of the maintenance of the User Interface repository.
- Create and maintain all UI related documentation.
- In a nutshell, bring the UI features from their early stages to the final product!
What you will need:
- 3+ years of proven experience in the games industry.
- Extensive portfolio displaying diverse artistic skills with an exceptional understanding of graphic design and typography.
- Expert knowledge of Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Understand core challenges of mobile UI from an artistic and technical perspective.
- Understand the full pipeline of getting UI assets into the Unity engine.
- Strong visual design skills and understanding of usability design principles.
- Ability to work well within a dynamic, cross-discipline, and iterative team environment.
- Growth mindset and an eye towards continuous improvement.
- Self-motivated and collaborative, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and an ability to receive and provide objective feedback.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
It’s a plus if you:
- Have basic understanding of User Experience in mobile video games.
- Have experience with implementation of UI screens in a Unity-based game client.
- Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance UI workflows and productivity.
- Passion for exploring and integrating AI into everyday work.
- Experience with After Effects for motion graphics and their relation to UI.
- Have a passion for games and strong knowledge of the mobile games industry.
