Marketing Manager, Home Service (Trades)
About the Role
Scorpion is seeking a skilled and motivated Marketing Manager to join our Brand Marketing team. In this role, you will work closely with our Corporate Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success partners to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for the home services trades segment, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
You will use your industry knowledge to create solutions-focused messaging, integrated campaigns, thought leadership, and sales enablement materials that support customer acquisition and revenue growth. Your understanding of the home services landscape will help ensure our marketing efforts resonate with trade professionals and small-to-mid-sized businesses.
Scorpion Internal Title: Vertical Solutions Marketing Manager
What Your Success Will Look Like
Support Go-to-Market and Demand Generation Efforts: Partner with the Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams to develop and execute trade-specific campaigns that drive pipeline growth and audience engagement.
Develop Trade Industry Expertise: Build a deep understanding of the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical market, including customer needs, industry trends, regulatory considerations, and the competitive landscape.
Own Positioning and Messaging: Define and refine positioning, value propositions, and messaging that resonate with target audiences. Continuously assess performance and optimize messaging based on results and feedback.
Create Thought Leadership and Industry Content: Produce and contribute to industry-specific content such as whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, webinars, and infographics that position Scorpion as a trusted expert.
Enable Sales and Customer-Facing Teams: Equip Sales and Customer Success teams with effective tools and resources, including sales collateral, pitch decks, and training materials tailored to the trades segment.
Conduct Market and Customer Research: Partner with Research and Product Marketing to identify customer pain points, buying behaviors, and decision-making processes. Use insights to inform strategy and messaging.
Segment Target Audiences: Identify and define key customer segments within the trades to ensure marketing efforts are targeted and relevant.
Track and Optimize Performance: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor results to evaluate marketing effectiveness and inform ongoing improvements.
Support Events and Industry Presence: Contribute to event strategy and participate in conferences, trade shows, and webinars to increase visibility and build industry relationships.
Collaborate on Partnerships: Support strategic partnerships with industry associations, influencers, and complementary technology providers.
Who You Are And What You Bring
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
3–5 years of experience developing and managing B2B marketing campaigns.
Experience marketing to small and mid-sized businesses, preferably within the home services industry (HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical).
Experience supporting go-to-market initiatives and integrated marketing campaigns.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners such as Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing.
Experience in a high-growth digital marketing or technology company is a plus.

Compensation

The base salary range is $110,000 (entry-level) - $130,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses or commissions.
Ranking Strategist
About the Role
As a Ranking Strategist, you’ll partner with Account Managers and clients to improve organic search performance and deliver measurable results. You’ll help guide SEO strategy, support implementation plans, and identify opportunities to expand product value through thoughtful recommendations.
This is a client-facing role that combines strategic thinking, technical SEO knowledge, and collaboration across teams. You’ll contribute to client success, product growth, and continuous performance improvement.
What Your Success Will Look Like
Communicate directly with Account Managers and clients, addressing their questions and ensuring overall product satisfaction.
Support Account Managers in product revenue growth through effective upselling presentations and related information.
Provide additional reactive SEO work as required to address client concerns and optimize performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and client success.
Contribute to the strategic oversight of ranking plans to drive client satisfaction and goal achievement.
Who You Are And What You Bring
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
Experience
2+ years of SEO and client-facing digital marketing experience
Skills
Understanding of organic ranking strategies and SEO best practices

Associate Animator
About the Role
As an Associate Animator on our Studios team, you will support the production of short-form video and motion graphics across client advertising and branded content. Your focus will be on executing assigned animation and editing tasks under close supervision, while building technical skill, speed, and creative confidence. You’ll work alongside experienced creatives and receive hands-on guidance as you grow your craft and learn the rhythm of high-volume, fast-turnaround production.
This role is designed for an early-career animator who has strong fundamentals, is eager to learn, and thrives in a collaborative, high-feedback environment.
What Your Success Will Look Like
Execute motion graphics and animation for client advertising and video content
Edit interview-based and short-form video content for ads, websites, and social platforms
Apply creative direction, templates, and feedback from senior team members to refine deliverables
Collaborate with producers, editors, and designers throughout the production process
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Ensure accuracy, visual consistency, and high-quality standards across all deliverables
Stay current on motion design and video editing best practices

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience
2 years of relevant professional experience in animation, motion design, or video editing
Strong foundational knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro
Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite
