Vehicle Integration Technician

The Role

You will be responsible for electrical integration, system assembly, and operational readiness of Scout AI’s robotic platforms. This role requires hands-on experience working with automotive electrical systems, wiring harnesses, sensors, power systems, and robotics hardware. You’ll play a critical role in bridging engineering development and real-world deployment ensuring systems are built correctly, tested thoroughly, and ready for mission operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and integrate electrical systems across vehicle platforms including power distribution, sensors, communications, and compute hardware
  • Build and install wiring harnesses, connectors, and cable management systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues across prototypes and deployed systems
  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of vehicle platforms and subsystems
  • Install sensors, compute modules, radios, motor controllers, and more
  • Support final system integration before deployment
  • Maintain documentation for wiring diagrams, build procedures, and integration processes
  • Conduct hardware validation and integration tests across vehicle subsystems
  • Support test campaigns and debugging efforts with engineering teams
  • Assist in identifying and resolving system-level integration issues

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive, electrical, or robotics technician roles
  • Experience assembling and troubleshooting electrical systems and wiring harnesses
  • Familiarity with electronics tools (crimpers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering equipment)
  • Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Hands-on experience assembling complex electromechanical systems
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

The stated salary range below represents an estimated base pay only and reflects consideration of multiple compensation factors. Final salary offers may differ depending on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience or training background, specialized skills, and business needs. US Salary Range

$95,000 - $140,000 USD
