What you’ll do
The Coordinator Production Program/ BKM Steering reports to the Manager Production Steering and is responsible to establish and manage the Production Program and Demand Capacity Management (BKM) process for Scout Motors Inc.
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, HR, Finance and Process Planning Departments in order to define the medium and long Term Production Plan and Production Calendar,
- Propose and agree with the related shareholder the short term production plan and production sequence based on plant capacity and restrictions including the evaluation of potential supply risks.
- Manage Vehicle Orders accuracy within the Scout Manufacturing Execution System. Ensure consistency of data to ensure accuracy of material ordering and stability of vehicle production. Make Problem solving in case of abnormalities.
- Prepare and submit required information for the BKM (demand capacity) analysis and confirmation for the planning cadence.
- Coordinate parts shortage discussion within BKM group and processes to report, align and secure production material to meet planned requirements.
- Represent Scout for the projected production material shortage allocation in the related Group Committees.
- Ensure the preparation of the Production Control reporting for Scout and the submission, regularly reporting as required to the Scout Board.
- Support Process and System optimization Process within the Production Steering Department.
- Coordinate Process optimization activities with related production areas to ensure Production sequence adherence.
- Ensure accuracy and maintain reference data in VW Group proprietary systems.
Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- 10+ years of professional experience in logistics or production environment in the automotive industry
- 3+ years of experience managing people or working teams
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in industrial or mechanical, electrical engineering, or related fields
- Strong understanding of Production planning, scheduling and control in the automotive industry
- Affinity to work with complex IT-Systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, report writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate complex issues into common language for the organization
- Collaborative team-player with strong interpersonal skills able to work at each hierarchical level of the company.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $95,000-$115,000
Internal leveling code: IC9
