What you’ll do
The Specialist Personnel Planning and KPI Management reports to the Inhouse Logistics Leader and is responsible to establish and coordinate Personnel Planning and KPI Management for the Inhouse Logistics within Scout Motors Inc.
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Support the establishment of the Inhouse Logistics Teams, responsible for the parts supply operations in Body shop and Assembly Shop
- Establish a Hiring Curve based on Production Rump up Curve for direct personnel in 3 Shifts, Coordinate with Industrial Engineering, Finance and Human Resources to ensure the necessary Budget and ensure the Recruiting Timeline
- Support the coordination with Training Center and internal Inhouse Logistics Organization in order to ensure the establishment of Qualification concept for direct personnel for the Inhouse Logistics
- Define and Agree within the Inhouse Logistics Team the KPIs Set required to visualize efficiently the current operational, personnel and safety status end identify needs for action
- Define and Agree within the Inhouse Logistics Team the KPIs Set required to visualize efficiently the current financial status end identify needs for action
- Coordinate the continuous monitor of the personnel status and defined KPIs within the Inhouse Logistics Team. Ensure transparency in case of deviations and follow up of identified corrective measures
- Support the planning and implementation of new logistics processes, structures and equipment for the logistical supply of series production by taken responsibility for defined processes
- Support the problem-solving process and series optimization to ensure no production stop due to logistical failures
- Support the coordination of the annual inventory (full containers, empties) and permanent inventory at the site
- Support in the maintenance of reference data in VW Group proprietary systems.
Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- 5+ years of professional experience in logistics or production environment in the automotive industry
- Bachelor's/master’s degree in industrial or mechanical, electrical engineering, or related fields
- Detailed Knowledge and extensive Experience in Quality Management Systems (ISO, VDA, etc …) and related process requirements
- Affinity to work with complex IT-Systems, SAP desired
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, report writing and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate complex issues into common language for the organization
- Collaborative team-player with strong interpersonal skills able to work at each hierarchical level of the company.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $90,000-$110,000
Internal leveling code: IC9
