What you’ll do

As a Coordinator for Ramp-up Steering and Disposition (Pre-Series), you will be responsible for overseeing the ramp-up of new product lines and managing the disposition of pre-series parts. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of pre-series components, and monitoring the logistic and production process for quality and efficiency.
- Ramp-up Management: Lead and oversee the ramp-up process for new product lines, ensuring smooth transitions from pre-series to mass production.
- Disposition of Pre-Series Parts: Manage the tracking, analysis, and disposition of pre-series parts, working closely with quality control, logistics, and manufacturing teams.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, quality, supply chain, and production, to align on schedules, quality requirements, and technical issues.
- Production Steering: Ensure adherence to production schedules and identify any bottlenecks or delays in the ramp-up process. Propose and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on ramp-up progress, key performance indicators, and any deviations from targets. Present findings to senior management.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the pre-series and ramp-up stages, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project timelines are met.
- Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers to manage the timely delivery and quality of pre-series parts, ensuring they meet specifications.

- Coordination of vehicle-specific parts provision for pre-series vehicles by the special warehouse
Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Columbia, SC. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- 3+ years of professional experience in logistics or production environment in the automotive industry
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in the field of scheduling would be an advantage
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage complexity
- Collaborative team-player with strong interpersonal skills able to work at each hierarchical level of the company
- Strong understanding of Production environment and affinity to work with complex IT-Systems

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $90,000-$110,000
Internal leveling code: IC9
