Position Summary 

Implements and coordinates Scout's whistleblower program and investigation processes in alignment with Volkswagen (VW) Group standards, while developing topic owner capabilities across the organization. This role ensures effective local execution of Group frameworks while maintaining appropriate coordination across functions and escalation protocols.

Key Areas of Responsibility 

  1. Whistleblower Program Implementation

Implementation Focus: 

  • Roll out whistleblower structure at brand level 
  • Implement defined protocols locally 
  • Ensure local alignment with VW Group standards 
  • Maintain program documentation 

 

Execution: 

  • Manage local whistleblower intake 
  • Conduct initial assessments  
  • Route cases according to internal framework 
  • Track local program metrics 
  • Ensure compliance with reporting requirements 

 

 

 

  1. Investigation Coordination

Coordination Focus: 

  • Coordinate with VW Group on relevant cases 
  • Liaise with topic owners on specialized cases 
  • Manage investigation tracking and documentation 
  • Ensure consistent process application 

 

Execution: 

  • Assess and route cases to appropriate owners 
  • Coordinate cross-functional investigations 
  • Manage local investigation documentation 
  • Track investigation progress and deadlines 
  • Support topic owners as needed 
  • Prepare required reporting 
  • Maintain case management system 

 

  1. Topic Owner Support & Development

Implementation Focus: 

  • Implement training protocols for topic owners 
  • Create local guidance materials based on VW Group standards 
  • Establish documentation frameworks 

Execution: 

  • Train topic owners on investigation techniques 
  • Provide guidance on documentation requirements 
  • Coach on interview best practices 
  • Support evidence gathering protocols 
  • Guide on alternative resolution approaches 
  • Monitor investigation quality 
  • Provide feedback and coaching 

 

  1. Cross-Functional Support

Implementation Focus: 

  • Implement standard coordination procedures

  • Based in Novi, MI or Columbia, SC 
  • 3 days per week in office required

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $145,000 - $155,000

Internal leveling code: IC7
