The Treasury Analyst is a member of the Scout Motors Treasury Team who is focused on performing core treasury functions for Scout Motors, with a key focus on the corporate level cash management and payment activities. The Treasury Analyst will report to the Treasury Operations Manager. The Treasury Analyst will have a support role in several system developments supporting both Scout Motors Treasury and Scout Motors Finance as Scout Motors continues our journey to bring one of America’s most storied brands back to market.

What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

Cash Management & Payments

  • Prepare daily cash position for Scout Motors entities, focusing on current day and next day liquidity balances
  • Manage FX account balances in accordance with Treasury policy
  • Enter manual wire and ACH payments, as needed
  • Coordinate ACH and wire payment runs with the Accounts Payable Team
  • Deal directly with banks for payment inquiries, investigations, and open issues

Bank Account Management

  • Manage KYC (Know Your Customer) information related to Bank requests
  • Maintaining bank account documentation in Volkswagen Group’s centralized Bank Account Management (BAM) system
  • Reconcile bank fees
  • Support annual bank account reviews with core banking partners and collaborate with Manager, Treasury Operations on efficiencies and opportunities

 Credit Card

  • Process new credit card requests and provide daily support for special cases
  • Monitor company spend and ensure spend is aligned to company policy
  • Prepare monthly credit card spending reports for Scout Motors’ leadership team

General

  • Support treasury technology implementations in SAP and other systems
  • Maintain close working relationships with Tax, Accounting, and Payroll
  • Ad hoc assignments as assigned per Manager, Treasury Operations
  • Ability to work on all non-Federal Reserve holidays (even if the day is a company holiday)

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, Michigan.
  • The responsibilities of this role require 3-5 days attendance in office with in-person meetings and events. 
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics
  • Effective communication skills – interpersonal, presentation, and written
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong systems skills
  • Ability to work on all non-Federal Reserve holidays (even if the day is a company holiday)

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience working in treasury, accounting, or similar field
  • Experience with SAP TRM, commercial banking portals, PowerBI
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $80,000.00 - $90,000.00
