About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Visual Brand Designer to lead creative art direction and hands-on design execution that defines and elevates our brand. This is a high-impact maker position focused on conceptual thinking and crafted output. You’ll own projects from ideation through delivery, shaping brand moments across marketing, digital, events, and internal communications.
You should thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, working with autonomy while staying connected and collaborative. You’re proactive, versatile, and comfortable owning your creative space while adapting to shifting priorities.
What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Lead creative direction and design execution for brand initiatives, campaigns, and experiences.
- Design across web, social, events, print, and presentation formats, ensuring cohesion and craft.
- Explore and evolve the visual identity to support storytelling and marketing goals.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and growth teams to bring ideas to life.
- Translate strategy and concepts into visually compelling, well-crafted outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver standout visual systems and assets that bring the brand to life.
- Apply deep craft in composition, typography, color, layout, and image-making.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality creative.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines and templates.
- Balance multiple projects independently and efficiently, with attention to detail.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role will be remote within the United States. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- A strong portfolio showcasing creative direction and polished brand design.
- Expertise in visual storytelling, layout, and visual systems across mediums.
- Experience with Adobe creative suite (photoshop, illustrator, indesign) and Figma.
- Clear communicator who can explain and defend design decisions.
- Strong self-management and adaptability in a fast-moving environment.
- Collaborative spirit and ability to contribute in a team-driven culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with After Effects, Motion, 3D, or interactive design experience is a plus.
- Experience in startups, in-house teams, or agency environments.
- Comfort with fast iteration, ambiguity, and feedback loops.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $140,000.00 - $155,000.00
Internal leveling code: IC8
