What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Develop and implement ecommerce sales strategies for accessories, branded merchandise, membership programs, and experiential offerings.
  • Integrate accessory sales into the online purchasing process to increase sales, improve efficiency, and maintain clear communication with customers.
  • Partner with the Accessories Business Operations to identify compelling product assortments and relay customer insights and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations on sales planning, incentive structures, and vehicle order configurations to optimize accessory sales.
  • Coordinate with the Accessories and Aftersales team to ensure proper inventory levels and timely delivery of accessories to regional hubs and workshops.
  • Work with the Training team to design and deliver training programs focused on product knowledge and effective sales techniques.
  • Oversee the development and production of Scout-branded merchandise to enhance brand visibility and drive incremental revenue.
  • Lead the creation and rollout of membership programs and experiential initiatives that foster customer engagement and loyalty.
  • Oversee Scout Supply online store, ensuring seamless online shopping experiences, accurate product listings, strategic alignment and effective digital marketing strategies.
  • With the Architecture team curate accessories and merchandise workshop displays, upholding visual standards for accessories and branded merchandise.
  • Collaborate with Retail Operations and Inside Sales/Service teams to identify and execute upselling opportunities.
  • Work with the Marketing team to develop integrated campaigns across digital, CRM, social media, and in-store channels to increase brand awareness and drive traffic.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track sales effectiveness and profitability.
  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership, offering insights, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations.

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role is based out of the future Scout Motors corporate headquarters, which is anticipated to be identified in 2025. This role may be remote to start but will transition to an in-office setting at the headquarters after the location is determined. This role is not eligible for remote work in New York City.
  • The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly.
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company. 
  • Travel: This role requires travel 50% of the time while the role is remote, then 25% once the role is based in the Scout Motors headquarters. Valid Driver's license required. Passport may be required if international travel is anticipated.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in accessories management and automotive retail environments, with demonstrated knowledge of both physical and digital commerce operations
  • Deep understanding of automotive accessory trends, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
  • Proven ability to build and lead successful teams while fostering a collaborative, goal-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated success in building and leading high-performing teams, cultivating a positive and results-driven culture.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate organizational complexity and lead data-informed discussions with senior leadership.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Passport required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range = $165,000.00 - $200,000.00
