SCT seeks contingent hire for a full-time, on-site NASA Schedule Analyst position supporting the Spaceport Integration and Services Directorate Chief Strategist at Kennedy Space Center. The NASA Schedule Analyst (SA) supports the Spaceport Integration and Services (SI) Directorate in providing schedules and schedule analysis to meet the strategic and tactical needs of the Spaceport Chief Strategist (SCS). Responsibilities include creating and managing integrated master schedules, analyzing interdependencies, and supporting planning, risk analysis, and decision-making activities. The SA ensures compliance with standard processes, data structures, and reporting conventions while maintaining a strategic schedule view of at least five years and a tactical schedule view of up to one year.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage the Kennedy Space Center Integrated Master Schedule (KIMS). Create and maintain a single integrated master schedule for Spaceport operations and infrastructure development. Interface with NASA KSC stakeholders to integrate technical data and milestones.
- Assist SI leadership in creating strategic data products to coordinate and align tactical and strategic activities across partners, programs, services, and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare and present high-level critical path schedules for reviews at the directorate and center level.
- Perform schedule analysis based on knowledge of government milestones and infrastructure development.
- Maintain configuration control over schedules and develop recurring schedules to support studies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required. Focus in Industrial or Systems Engineering, Business or other related scientific or technical discipline is preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification is preferred.
Skillsets:
- Schedule: Expertise in developing, maintaining, and managing integrated master schedules, including configuration control and critical path analysis.
- Data: Ability to analyze complex project data, identify trends, risks, and interdependencies, and provide actionable insights.
- Strategy: Strategic thinking to align short-term tactical plans with long-term goals, supporting decision-making processes.
- Stakeholder/Training: Strong collaboration skills to engage with stakeholders, integrate technical milestones, and train others in scheduling tools and methodologies.
- Technical Writing: Proficiency in crafting clear and concise technical reports and presentations for high-level leadership.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of experience with scheduling software such as Milestone Professional, Visual Planning, or Microsoft Project.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Visio.
- Demonstrated ability to provide consulting expertise to enhance and standardize management and operations.
- Demonstrated experience in milestone scheduling for complex operational or infrastructure projects.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to work on-site with the client in Cape Canaveral, FL.
