Senior Consultant Talent Development (Part-Time)

The Senior Consultant serves as a subject matter expert for client projects. Senior Consultants provide functional leadership on projects, leading analysis to draw conclusions and develop insightful recommendations and solutions. The Senior Consultant interacts regularly with the client as a trusted functional advisor. Senior Consultants may also assist with corporate special projects such as capability development, business development, and strategic initiatives.
Duties
- Lead complex projects and diverse teams performing consulting engagements for clients
- Lead specific workstream(s) or deliverable effort(s) within complex projects
- Serve as subject matter expert for client
- Design and oversee data and analysis
- Prepare and approve deliverables, including project briefings, study findings, reports, and proactive conclusions and recommendations
- Guide and review analysis and work products of analysts and consultants, as well as peers
- Facilitate meetings, workshops and training, one on one leadership development sessions
- Develop strategic, technical and operational documents and plans, including training curriculums and course content
- Provide input to technical proposals and corporate capability briefings; serve on proposal writing teams
- May work onsite at client office location
- May include occasional travel
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including 10 years in learning and development, curriculum development, and talent development for adult professionals
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- ICF coaching certification required; ICF certification at PCC level or higher strongly preferred
- Minimum 10 years working in a federal government environment as a federal employee or contractor
- High-quality analytical and problem-solving skills; able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Subject matter expertise in talent development, learning and development, leadership coaching
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
- Strong work ethic with excellent organizational and inter-personal skills
- Self-starter with demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities
- Ability to interface with executive-level clients
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- May require ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
