Server (In-room Dining)

Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman is seeking a professional and service-oriented In-Room Dining (IRD) Server to join our hospitality team. The IRD Server is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests in the comfort of their rooms, ensuring prompt, courteous, and personalized service that reflects the hotel’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Take and process in-room dining orders accurately and efficiently
• Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms in a timely and professional manner
• Set up trays or tables according to hotel standards
• Ensure all orders are complete, correct, and presented attractively
• Provide friendly, attentive, and personalized service to all guests
• Handle guest requests, inquiries, and concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas and equipment
• Coordinate with kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service
• Process payments and maintain accurate billing records

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in food & beverage room service, preferably in a hotel or luxury hospitality environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Team player with a commitment to excellence

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hotel POS systems
• Knowledge of fine dining service standards
• Multilingual abilities are an asset
