Marketing Operations Manager

United States

The Opportunity

Seamless is looking for a Marketing Operations Manager. You'll own the systems and the data that the entire marketing engine runs on. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Demand Generation, you'll run our martech stack, lead and data flow, and, just as importantly, you'll be the person who makes our marketing data trustworthy: standardized, clean, governed, and ready to act on. This role is awesome because we generate hundreds of thousands of data points every day from our freemium funnel and right now that data lives in too many places, in too many formats. You'll fix that. You'll build the source-of-truth pipelines, naming conventions, and routing logic that let Paid, Lifecycle, AEO/GEO, and Analytics move fast without tripping over bad data. You'll partner closely with Sales Ops, RevOps, and Data Engineering to keep the whole system honest. If you love being the operator who turns chaos into clean, reliable infrastructure that everyone depends on, this is your seat.

Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing operations function: martech stack administration, data flow, lead routing, campaign operations, and process

  • Define and enforce data standards across the marketing org, including naming conventions, field definitions, taxonomies, and a single source of truth

  • Build and maintain the data hygiene program: deduplication, normalization, enrichment, validation rules, and ongoing cleanup

  • Own lead lifecycle operations: scoring, routing, deduplication, and SLA enforcement between Marketing and Sales

  • Administer and integrate the martech stack (CRM, MAP/ESP, CDP, enrichment, and analytics tools); manage integrations, syncs, and contracts

  • Partner with the Analytics & Insights Manager and Data Engineering on the marketing data model and event schema; you own the plumbing, they own the interpretation

  • Standardize how every campaign, channel, and source is tagged so reporting is consistent and trustworthy end to end

  • Build and document repeatable operational processes, playbooks, and QA checks so the team can scale without breaking

  • Manage data governance and compliance (consent, suppression, CAN-SPAM/CASL/GDPR) and keep the system audit-ready

  • Be the first responder for broken data, failed syncs, and routing issues; diagnose at the source and prevent recurrence

Skillset

  • Deep, hands-on marketing operations experience; you've owned a martech stack and the data that flows through it

  • Strong data standardization instincts: you build naming conventions, taxonomies, and validation rules that actually get followed

  • Proficiency administering at least one CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot) and one MAP/ESP/CDP (Marketo, HubSpot, Customer.io, Segment, or similar)

  • Working SQL and strong spreadsheet skills; you can profile, clean, and reconcile data yourself without waiting on Engineering

  • Experience designing lead scoring, routing, and Marketing-to-Sales handoff logic at high volume

  • Comfortable with integrations, APIs, ETL/iPaaS tools (Zapier, Workato, Fivetran, or similar) and debugging data at the source

  • A governance mindset: you care about consent, suppression, and compliance, and you keep systems audit-ready

  • Excellent communication and documentation; you make the rules clear and get the rest of the org to adopt them

  • Bias to ship: you'd rather get a clean, reliable process live this week than a perfect one next quarter

Education and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field preferred

  • 5+ years of marketing operations, revenue operations, or marketing data experience, including 2+ years in a B2B SaaS company with a freemium or product-led motion

  • Demonstrated ownership of data standardization, hygiene, and martech administration at a company with high transaction volume and a short sales cycle

  • Hands-on proficiency with at least one major CRM and one MAP/ESP/CDP required; SQL proficiency required

  • Equivalent combination of education and high-volume B2B SaaS operations experience will be considered

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
