
Plumbing Safety Inspector
Job Summary:
The Plumbing Safety Inspector is responsible for overseeing and enforcing safety regulations related to plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance. This role ensures that all work performed aligns with OSHA regulations, state and local codes, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections of plumbing job sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Identify potential hazards, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure compliance.

Develop and implement safety training programs for plumbing technicians.

Investigate plumbing-related incidents and accidents, documenting findings and recommending preventive measures.

Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, reports, and corrective actions taken.

Ensure all plumbing tools and equipment meet safety requirements and are properly maintained.

Work closely with management and field teams to promote a culture of safety.

Stay up to date with OSHA, local, and state regulations regarding plumbing safety standards.
Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in plumbing, plumbing inspection, or safety compliance.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of plumbing systems, safety codes, and regulatory requirements.

Skills: Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate safety guidelines effectively.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and inspect job sites for extended periods. May require lifting up to 50 lbs.

License: Valid driver’s license.
- Background: Must be willing to undergo a thorough background check and drug screen.
