POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of Ticket Sales leads a high-performing sales team focused on growing full-season and partial plan memberships for Sounders FC and Reign FC. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for driving team accountability and delivering on sales goals. The ideal candidate thrives on coaching and developing talent, leveraging data and insights to optimize performance, and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve growth targets.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop, lead, and execute ticket sales and service campaigns to achieve revenue and retention goals.
  • Oversee and motivate teams to meet or exceed designated retention and sales targets annually.
  • Set, communicate, and track clear daily, weekly, and long-term sales goals with transparency.
  • Coach and develop team members through structured training, shadowing, and individualized growth plans.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train a diverse sales team.
  • Oversee execution of outbound campaigns and digital sales strategies using CRM tools, analyzing results and refining tactics as needed.
  • Leverage CRM data and AI-driven insights to refine sales strategy, prioritize outreach, and identify high-potential prospects.
  • Collaborate with Ticket Sales and Service leadership to optimize cross-functional product performance and execute full-menu selling.
  • Maintain weekly sales report updates for leadership team and staff.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with departments and leaders across the club to align departmental objectives with organizational priorities.
  • Identify and implement improvements in touchpoint processes and continually review sales process quality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the season and model service excellence for the team.

QUALIFICATIONS   

  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, preferably in sports ticket sales, with a track record of achieving revenue and retention goals.
  • Proven success managing diverse, high-performing sales teams, ideally with exposure to full-menu selling.
  • Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM systems; experience with Archtics preferred.
  • Comfort with data tools, emerging technologies, and a willingness to explore AI-driven solutions that support sales performance and workflow optimization.
  • Ability to build strong relationships, follow through on commitments, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
  • Positive, self-motivated approach with a strong work ethic and commitment to high standards of accountability.
  • Strong coaching skills with experience building trust, setting clear expectations, giving clear, candid feedback and leading structured performance and development conversations that drive accountability and employee engagement.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills, with the flexibility to balance multiple projects, competing priorities, and team needs.
  • Ability to coach, train, and implement new sales and retention strategies effectively.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed under pressure.
  • Flexibility to prioritize and manage multiple projects, competing demands, and staff needs.
  • Commitment to modeling organizational core values.
  • Passion for our mission of Creating Moments, Enriching Lives and Unifying and Uplifting through Soccer, and enthusiasm for representing Sounders FC & Reign FC.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (especially Spanish language fluency) are a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT   

  • This is a hybrid role based primarily at our Headquarters & Training Facility in Renton, WA, with an on-site schedule of at least four days per week and regular attendance at home matches at Lumen Field.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. 
  • Must reside within Washington state upon date of hire. 
  • Must be able to facilitate own local travel. 
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship. 
  • Responsibilities include regular work outdoors and may require standing on feet for long periods of time, as well as some lifting of up to 20 pounds.

The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000, with additional bonus eligibility. Base pay at time of offer will take into account job-related knowledge, skills and experience required for the role, internal equity and market.
