POSITION SUMMARY

This interim, high-impact role provides critical support during a period of accelerated growth and while we recruit for a permanent leader of Talent Acquisition.

We’re seeking a strategic, systems-minded talent acquisition specialist with a coaching approach who can:

  • Build scalable talent acquisition processes
  • Configure and optimize our ATS (Greenhouse)
  • Enable and train hiring managers
  • Lead select high-priority searches across full-time, part-time, contract, and seasonal hiring

Your impact will be creating the infrastructure, tools, and practices that ensure hiring remains efficient, equitable, and aligned with our values.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • ATS Leadership: Position Greenhouse as the single source of truth for all hiring activity. Ensure adoption, advanced functionality (e.g., offer generation, HRIS integration), and data integrity to drive decision-making.
  • Recruitment Systems & Tools: Design and refine workflows, templates, reporting, and candidate communications to improve efficiency, scalability, and equity.
  • Priority Hiring Execution: Lead select critical requisitions end-to-end, modeling structured, equitable, and high-touch recruitment practices.
  • Coach and Enable Hiring Managers: Train and guide managers on role scoping, structured interviewing, and equitable decision-making; provide real-time guidance during active searches.
  • Equity & Inclusion: Embed inclusive hiring practices at every stage. Proactively source and engage diverse candidate pools.
  • Experience Excellence: Ensure every candidate and hiring manager interaction reflects our values, culture, and commitment to organizational excellence.
  • Employer Brand & Messaging: Audit and refresh job site content for alignment with employee value proposition. Elevate our presence on LinkedIn, social media, and job boards to attract top talent.
  • Onboarding Improvements: Support improvements that make the transition from offer to onboarding smooth, intentional, and aligned with culture.
  • Knowledge-Sharing Culture: Build documentation, SOPs, and repeatable training materials to ensure continuity and scalability. Proactively coach and embed a teaching mindset within the TA team and hiring managers.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven track record in full-cycle recruitment with expertise in process design, systems thinking, and manager enablement.
  • Experience in scaling organizations or environments where recruitment operations were built or transformed.
  • Advanced ATS knowledge (Greenhouse strongly preferred), including configuration and optimization.
  • Skilled in structured interviewing, competency-based evaluation, and equitable hiring practices.
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills; experience building dashboards and reporting frameworks.
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to influence, coach, and build trust across the organization.

  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to build trust and foster productive relationships at all levels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of employment law, including Washington State pay transparency requirements.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Hybrid role: expected onsite at our Renton training facility 3–4 days/week, with flexibility to work remotely 1–2 days/week.
  • Employee must reside within Washington state upon date of hire.
  • Employee must be able to facilitate own local travel.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship

The range for this position is $50 - $65 per hour. Base pay at time of offer will take into account job-related knowledge, skills and experience required for the role, internal equity and market.
