The Role:
The HR Coordinator plays an important role in HR team success. Th HR Coordinator provides operational and administrative support across all Human Resources functions. The role is responsible for delivering a positive employee experience through efficient administration of recruitment, onboarding, HRIS maintenance, benefits administration, employee records, and HR programs.
Your Impact:
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, assessments, and candidate communications.
- Partner with hiring managers to support effective and inclusive recruitment practices.
- Manage employee onboarding and deliver new hire orientation programs to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Prepare offer letters, employment agreements, and other employment-related documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Support payroll administration by managing employee data updates and employment status changes.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Coordinate employee lifecycle processes, including leaves of absence, return-to-work plans, and offboarding activities.
- Support performance management, employee engagement initiatives, learning and development programs, and HR events.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, legislation, and organizational standards through accurate documentation, reporting, and audit support.
Who You Are:
- You bring a passion for people, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering an exceptional employee experience. You possess:
- Post-secondary education, preferably a university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with 1-3 years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms and coordinating recruitment processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working independently and taking initiative.
- A CHRP designation or progress toward obtaining the designation is considered an asset.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
