ABOUT OUR CONSTRUCTION DELAY TEAM
When it comes to understanding the details that have an impact on costly and disruptive construction delays, we have built a reputation that stands above all with decades of experience as engineers, project managers, architects, schedulers, and accountants. Our team is trusted for their sophisticated delay analysis involved in the biggest projects developed around the world, including notable buildings, infrastructure, power & utilities, and oil & gas works.
Responsibilities:
- Research and fact-finding
- Reviewing technical and non-technical documentation (construction schedules, engineering drawings, reports, correspondence, weather data, etc.).
- Data analysis
- Interpreting large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and ultimately the potential causes of cost and schedule overruns.
- Quantification
- Applying analytical methods to quantify the delays in largescale construction projects
- Assisting with the drafting of expert reports for use in arbitration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree engineering or a related discipline. GPA: Second upper or above
- Two years’ post-graduate work experience, ideally in engineering & construction (in any industry) would be preferable but not essential.
- Some work experience in claims and/or expert witness services is preferred.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience using planning software such as MS Project, Asta Powerproject or Primavera is an advantage.
- Excellent written English.
- Fluency in another language is preferred.
- An aptitude for communicating complex, technical matters to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to travel as needed (generally under 15% of the time but may vary).
- Flexible and able to work as a member of a team
