Lead Product Designer

Remote

Seed Health is a microbiome science company pioneering clinically validated innovations for gut and whole-body health. Rooted in rigorous research and peer-reviewed studies, Seed is setting new standards for efficacy, safety, and trust in the biotics category. Our flagship innovation, DS-01® Daily Synbiotic, is a pre- and probiotic studied in multiple human clinical trials and trusted by over one million people for its systemic benefits, including gut, skin, immune, and heart health. Our pipeline of gut-directed innovations, developed in collaboration with world-renowned researchers and clinicians, harnesses the microbiome as a driver of longevity, systemic health, and daily well-being. Grounded in the ethos that human and planetary health are interconnected, our environmental research division, SeedLabs, advances microbial interventions to enhance biodiversity and help restore ecosystems impacted by human activity.

At Seed, design is not a layer on top of science—it is how science becomes human. It is the way someone encounters our brand for the first time, the way they feel trust in our science, and the way they carry our products into their daily lives.

We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to define the next chapter of Seed. This is not just a role in optimizing flows or polishing UI—it is an invitation to build an experience that is as iconic as it is intuitive, as poetic as it is precise. You will define how Seed looks, feels, and moves in the digital world—across every screen, touchpoint, and story.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the future of Seed’s online shopping experience: From first touch to long-term membership, craft experiences that feel iconic, distinct, and deeply human.
  • Build new design systems that balance storytelling, scientific rigor, and usability across platforms.
  • Prototype the future: Explore motion, interaction, and multi-sensory design that make Seed not just functional, but unforgettable.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, Marketing, Product, and Science teams to translate science into experiences that spark engagement and trust.
  • Shape culture as much as product—raising the craft bar, fostering creativity, and building a culture of design excellence.

Who You Are

  • A visionary hybrid—equally fluent in brand expression and product systems.
  • A craft-obsessed storyteller who knows that design is as much about emotion as it is about systems.
  • A designer with 6+ years of product and brand experience, including at least 2 in a lead role.
  • Mastery of visual, interaction, and motion design.
  • Curious about the intersection of design, science, and culture—and excited to invent how Seed shows up in the world.
  • Excited by building, not just optimizing—you thrive in ambiguity and love shaping things from the ground up.
  • Skilled at using AI design tools to accelerate workflows, experiment rapidly, and move from idea to solution with unprecedented speed.

Why Seed

At Seed, you’ll have the rare opportunity to:

  • Drive the design vision for a company pioneering a new chapter in health.
  • Work in a design-driven culture where aesthetics, rigor, and clarity are core to everything we build.
  • Shape a brand and product experience that resonates with over a million people worldwide—and inspires millions more.
