The Role

In less than two years, Seed’s flagship product, DS-01, has ascended to the #1 spot in one of Amazon’s most competitive categories—a powerful signal of our mass-market potential. This achievement is a testament to the massive demand engine we’ve built across all touchpoints, a reality reflected in January 2026, our strongest month ever across Target and Amazon.

In 2026, Seed is entering a new era of exponential growth in Retail, inclusive of both marketplace and brick & mortar. We’re investing heavily in the talent and tools needed to fuel that growth, and we’re looking for a key player focused on retail media to lead the charge across Amazon and future retail marketplaces.

Who You Are

  • You have 7+ years of experience in a performance marketing role with 5+ years of experience focused on Amazon. 
  • You have deep experience in Amazon Sponsored Ads and DSP, including prior hands-on experience in one or both of these channels.
  • You’ve owned a 7-figure retail media budget for an omni-channel CPG business, with a deep understanding of how to drive new to brand customer acquisition and Subscribe & Save performance across Amazon’s entire ecosystem.
  • You have a deep understanding of how to enhance retail media performance with Amazon Marketing Cloud, including multi-touch measurement, new to brand performance, and path to purchase analyses.
  • You can translate back and forth between tactical and strategic communication, understanding how nuanced tactics within retail media ladder up to Seed’s broader performance objectives.
  • In addition to being an exceptional internal collaborator, you have experience managing and holding agencies accountable to performance targets.
  • You have additional experience in non-Amazon retail media networks, such as Walmart Connect, Roundel, Instacart, etc.

What You’ll Do

  • The expectation for this role is a 50%/50% split between strategic and tactical focus. 
  • From a tactical lens, this role will oversee our agency partners to ensure excellence in execution, while personally owning forecasting, spend pacing, reporting, and incrementality modeling.
  • Examples of strategic work include ownership of the test and learn roadmap, go-to-market planning for new product launches, and partnering with cross-functionals on retail media initiatives (i.e. creative optimization, media mix modeling, etc), among other items.
  • This individual will be the go-to subject matter expert for Amazon and future retail media channels, possessing superior core skills while demonstrating an ability to identify root cause issues and solve ambiguous, complex problems through cross-functional collaboration and impact.
  • This role is a strategic owner rather than just an executor; this individual will help Seed define its core media KPIs across SKUs and channels that ladder up to overall business performance. This individual should go beyond “what happened”, but help us understand “what would happen if”.
  • This role acts as a force multiplier - this individual should know how to extract 110% value from our agency partners in order to focus on the 3-6 month strategic horizon.
  • This role will report to the Sr. Director, Amazon

The annual pay range for this full-time position is $150k-$170k + equity + benefits across all US locations (this position is 100% remote-US). Our pay ranges are guided by discipline, level and experience required.
