Why you want this job

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled senior QA engineer who has our company’s vision in mind, while understanding the technology we use, and the level of quality needed for a medical device.

In this position you will need a “can do” approach of making things happen on time and with the highest quality. You will work with many peers across the company and should be able to create a pleasant, productive and professional working environment.

You will work as an independent QA champion on a small team with varied strengths, focusing on the quality process and tests of the product the team is responsible for.

What you’ll do

  • Hands-on planning, implementing, and completing manual and automated testing, including API, end-to-end tests, front-end and back-end tests.
  • Led quality processes including finding defects, analyzing issues, assigning them to teams, and tracking their resolution.
  • Writing test strategy documents and comprehensive test scripts.
  • Collaborating with developers and product managers to achieve a high standard quality environment.
  • Demonstrate a positive growth-oriented mindset with a can-do attitude while continuously learning, acquiring new skills, and tackling challenges.

What you will need

  • At least 4-6 years of professional QA engineering experience in a high-end technology company.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of quality while working on regulated products under pressure and deadlines.
  • Excellent English skills in verbal communication, writing, and reading.
  • Confirmed experience with designing, writing, and driving test plans for distributed systems, covering web browsers, native clients, and server-side.
  • Strong knowledge of quality practices, testing tools and development workflow in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with REST API testing using platforms such as Postman.
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, or similar).
  • Working knowledge of programming languages (Python, JavaScript) for test automation.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead quality assurance projects from ideation to completion throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Nice to have

  • Work experience in the medical field and with medical regulations.
  • Experience working in compliance with regulated standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Using Jira as a tasks/bugs management system.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Previous experience and collaboration with test automation teams
