Your Team:
Solving problems on Seesaw’s Product Team is different from any other place. In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping transform research and strategy into delightful, easy-to-use products for educators, elementary students and their families. You’ll foster a strong connection with our customers, listening to teacher and family feedback and observing how students and families interact with the platform in real life to iterate over our releases. Lastly, you’ll enjoy ample autonomy to experiment and grow, and see your ideas pushed to production in weeks, not months.

Your Role:
Seesaw is seeking a highly motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Product Designer focused on our Family Engagement products across our core markets—the United States, Middle East and Latin America.
As a Product Designer at Seesaw, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our global platform and ensuring it continues to provide exceptional experiences for educators, students, and families. Strong candidates will have a background in shipping complex software products at scale, and have the ability to leverage their own intuitions and experience to identify user problems, and engage with the broader team to deliver high-quality, thoughtful product solutions to those problems.
Your Responsibilities:
- Product Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, User Research and Engineering to define and design the product experiences for our global Family Engagement products. Ensure alignment with company goals and values, taking into consideration user needs and market trends.
- Design System Collaboration: Collaborate with fellow designers to maintain a consistent, high quality user experience by exchanging feedback on projects as well as maintaining and evolving our design system.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics tools, including Amplitude, Snowflake and DataDog to collect and analyze data about user behavior. Leverage insights to drive product improvements, identify opportunities for growth, and address pain points.
- Product Roadmap Collaboration: Collaborate with product management and engineering to develop a roadmap aligned to company goals and user needs.
- Research and Stakeholder Communication: Gather and synthesize feedback from educators, administrators, and families to inform product decisions and ensure their needs are met. Share and synthesize user and competitive research insights for your team and Product leadership.
- Competitive Analysis: Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor products across our target regions: United States, MENA and LATAM. Conduct regular analysis to identify opportunities and areas for differentiation, leading to improvements and innovation within Seesaw's Family Engagement product offerings.
Your Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a product designer, designing, building and shipping high quality products, ideally with 1-2 years of designing consumer product experiences at scale.
- A strong portfolio showcasing experience with solving user-facing problems, high quality design skills, and overall impact.
- Excellent communication skills, are flexible in your design process, and can internalize and act on stakeholder feedback.
- A track record of working cross-functionally with other designers, user researchers, product managers, and engineers to collaboratively iterate until your work allows your end users to meet their needs.
- You can design at a structural/systems level as well as at a screen level, and have the ability to think through a complex flow while also focusing on optimizing an individual page.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma.
- Experience using AI tools such as Figma Make and/or Claude Code to assist in creativity, improve workflows, and for prototyping.
- Experience with responsive design across web, tablet, and phones. Familiar with a range of web and mobile design patterns.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and business needs.
Preferred experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Information Design, User Experience, Cognitive Science or a related field.
- Proficiency with analytics tools, like Amplitude, Snowflake and Datadog to drive data-driven decisions.
- 1-2 years of experience working within K12 educational institutions or in education technology.
- Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic language skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. Salary is just one part of our total compensation package that includes equity, perks & benefits, and development opportunities at Seesaw. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other Seesawers. It is our expectation that the majority of candidates who are offered roles at Seesaw will land well within our salary ranges based on these factors.
The hiring salary range for this position is: $125,000 - $170,000
This is an exempt position.
