About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Director to drive success in our Lending Strategy. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of deep fintech expertise, operational leadership, and a keen focus on product performance. As the Senior Director, you will own and manage the product's development, execution, and growth strategies. This role involves a significant focus on driving product performance, ensuring market relevance, and achieving financial targets, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a best-in-class EWA solution.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute actionable plans to expand the product’s market presence, achieve growth targets, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with product development, marketing, risk, and operations teams to ensure effective product delivery and alignment with company goals.
- Analyze key product and financial performance metrics (KPIs) to assess progress, make data-driven adjustments, and optimize product profitability.
- Identify opportunities for product innovation, leveraging market research, customer feedback, and trends to evolve the EWA offering.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the product, ensuring it runs efficiently, meets customer needs, and maintains high service levels.
- Ensure that all activities are in line with relevant financial regulations and industry standards, collaborating with compliance teams as necessary.
- Prepare and present regular updates to senior leadership, highlighting performance, opportunities, and key challenges.
- Drive business success through operational excellence and ensure alignment with business goals.
What you will bring:
- 8+ years in lending, with a strong focus on financial services or fintech products.
- Proven experience in managing product performance, with direct exposure to P&L responsibilities.
- In-depth understanding of the Earned Wage Access (EWA) market, including trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth and improve financial outcomes through strategic and tactical leadership.
- Strong financial analysis, modeling, and budgeting skills.
- A problem-solver with a strong ability to think strategically, set priorities, and execute plans effectively.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams in a cross-functional environment, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in digital financial products or services.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in financial services.
- Experience working in a high-growth fintech environment, ideally within a startup or venture-backed company.
Base salary range: $155,000 - $231,000 annually. Individual pay is based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and other job-related reasons.
