Sensible Care is now hiring a Part-Time (in-person) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to treat patients in Laguna Hills, California!  

This opportunity is Part-Time; 24 hours per week with potential to increase in the future!

You Offer 

  • PMHNP ANCC board certification 
  • An active CA PMHNP License 
  • Valid DEA registration 
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills 
  • Experience performing relevant duties in an outpatient settingpreferred 
  • Proficiency with computers and Electronic Medical Records (EMR's) 
  • Timeliness, detail oriented, and the ability to work well in a team setting 

Primary Duties 

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluationsin-person and via telemed 
  • Treat mental health disorders with medication and psychotherapy 
  • Coordinate patient care with ancillary providers 
  • Work with support staff to authorize prescription refills and medication changes 
  • Address urgent patient issues that arise outside of patient visits 
  • Supervise Spravato and TMS treatments and be prepared to assist in the management of adverse effects
