Senior Product Manager - Fraud Products
Role:
In this role, you will gather input from SentiLink executives, including the founders, and others in key customer-facing roles, on areas of fraud and risk unaddressed by our current suite of products, and then work with SentiLink technical teams to research and build solutions that help customers solve these problems. These solutions may be add-ons to existing products or entirely new ones. This is a hands-on role that will involve influencing the design of SentiLink’s products at all levels of the stack, working closely with SentiLink’s data scientists and engineers. Designing and building these solutions will require creativity, first-principles reasoning, and a willingness to get into the details. If successful, this role will directly lead to TAM expansion for SentiLink.
Given this role’s close collaboration with the data science and engineering teams; a strong candidate may have exceptional background in data science or engineering, but simply have an interest in taking their career in the product management direction without any prior experience - though if this is the case, the candidate still must show high potential as a product manager.
Responsibilities:
- Identify new areas of fraud and risk unaddressed by our current solutions
- Gather information from key SentiLink executives and customer to prioritize areas for further investigation
- Develop a roadmap of data science and engineering tasks to assess the potential for a SentiLink solution
- Manage the development of the solution, getting “into the weeds” with SentiLink data scientists and engineers on design decisions and execution prioritization
- Conduct further primary research into fraud and identity by Googling, talking to internal and external experts, and interviewing SentiLink customers
Requirements:
- 5 years experience as a Data Scientist or a Product Manager, with at least 2 of those years in a Data Science role
- Strong first principles reasoning ability, especially as applied to data science problems
- Experience in fraud, identity, financial services, risk, or lending is a plus
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must live in the United States
- Ability to work in-office from downtown San Francisco twice/week is a major plus
Salary Range:
- $160,000/year - $215,000/year + equity + benefits
Perks:
- Employer paid group health insurance for you and your dependents
- 401(k) plan with employer match (or equivalent for non US-based roles)
- Flexible paid time off
- Regular company-wide in-person events
- Home office stipend, and more!
Corporate Values:
- Follow Through
- Deep Understanding
- Whatever It Takes
- Do Something Smart
