We are seeking talented and motivated engineers to join our growing team in developing cutting-edge autonomous driving solutions. As a Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and optimizing our 3D perception pipeline, integrating LiDAR and camera data, and contributing to the development of our advanced robotics and autonomous driving technologies.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Algorithm Development & Testing: Design, simulate, and implement signal processing algorithms for computer vision and robotics perception tasks.
  • Data Evaluation: Work with real-world traffic data (LiDAR, camera) to evaluate the performance of algorithms and suggest optimizations.
  • Collaboration: Support senior engineers in integrating new algorithms and solutions into our autonomous driving products, ensuring seamless software and hardware interaction.
  • Simulation and Evaluation: Assist in the development and integration of software utilities for algorithm simulation, testing, and performance evaluation.
  • Pipeline Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of our 3D perception pipeline for object detection, tracking, and classification tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Education: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Robotics, or related fields.
  • Programming: Strong proficiency in C++ (including multi-threading and modern software design patterns).
  • Machine Learning Fundamentals: Familiarity with fundamental machine learning techniques (e.g., SVM, clustering, tree-based models).
  • Mathematics: Solid understanding of linear algebra, optimization, and statistics.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate ideas and solutions, both orally and in writing.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of industry experience with computer vision in autonomous driving, robotics, or related fields (internships or research experience are also valued).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with 3D point cloud data from LiDAR and/or radar sensors.
  • Familiarity with Kalman Filter-based tracking algorithms.
  • Experience in deep learning for computer vision tasks (e.g., object detection, segmentation).
