- Develop roadmaps and make the teams understand key goals and priorities
- Hire the best talents and develop them to build a strong team
- Partner with the Engineering Leadership and other senior team members
- Develop, implement, and communicate engineering plans and projects status throughout all levels of the company
- Foster a spirit of teamwork that allows for constructive ideas, the appreciation of diversity, as well as supportiveness, and working effectively together
- Lead employees using a performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage employee contributions and includes goal setting, feedback, and career development planning
- Execute and deliver on the relevant roadmaps, enabling your team leads to unblock their teams and create a focus on partnering with customers and stakeholders
- Partner with Tier 1 Automotive Manufacturer
- Set documentation standards with an eye on scalability for building a high-quality software development environment
- Master, PhD Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years work experience with 4+ years of management function
- Project experience
- Product development, program management, and launch execution experience
- Experienced with software development tools and environments, and knowledgeable about software platform architecture
- Experienced in AI algorithms, including deep learning and pattern recognition
- Expert in sensors, and wireless communication technologies (Lidar, camera, wifi, 4g, etc.)
- Adept in hardware real-time simulation and driving simulator technology
- Willingness to travel 10-25% internationally
