About This Role
We're looking for a Requirement Engineer to establish and maintain a formal requirement framework for ATI (Autonomy Through Infrastructure) — Seoul Robotics’ infrastructure-based autonomous driving solution composed of multiple software modules that work together to enable vehicle autonomy through smart infrastructure.
In this role, you will formalize, structure, and manage requirements across multiple software systems, ensuring they are traceable, testable, and aligned with both product goals and operational needs.
You will collaborate closely with the Product, QA, and Engineering teams to ensure that each requirement is properly implemented and verifiable, enabling systematic evaluation of product completeness and validation coverage.
Responsibilities
[1] Requirement Structuring & Formalization
-
Translate high-level inputs from Product and Project Managers into clear, structured, and testable software and system requirements.
-
Maintain the requirement hierarchy and documentation (System → Subsystem → Software) across the ATI product suite.
-
Ensure all requirements adhere to consistent standards for clarity, traceability, and verifiability.
[2] Requirement Traceability & Validation Coverage
-
Establish and maintain traceability between requirements, design elements, and test cases.
-
Collaborate with QA and Product teams to verify that each requirement has corresponding validation coverage.
-
Quantitatively evaluate verification progress and test completeness through metrics such as requirement coverage ratio and test pass rate.
[3] Compliance & Process Management
-
Support product safety and reliability processes aligned with SOTIF (ISO/PAS 21448) and ISO 26262.
-
Maintain up-to-date requirement documentation and traceability matrices for audits and internal reviews.
-
Manage requirement change processes and conduct impact analyses for updates or revisions.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in autonomous driving, automotive software, or system engineering.
-
Proven experience in requirement definition, management, and traceability
-
Strong understanding of system engineering, software lifecycle, and test validation processes.
-
Excellent communication and documentation skills in both English and Korean.
-
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across Product, QA, and Engineering.
Preferences
-
Experience in autonomous driving, robotics, or safety-critical systems.
-
Familiarity with scenario-based testing, simulation-driven validation, or model-based system design.
-
Understanding of SOTIF, ISO 26262, or other safety frameworks.
-
Experience with requirement coverage analysis, test planning, or traceability audits.
-
Exposure to end-to-end system verification or fleet-level validation workflows
