We are looking for a visionary and hands-on QA Team Lead to spearhead our quality assurance efforts for our autonomous driving stack. In this role, you will not only ensure the technical excellence of our software but also build and mentor a high-performing QA team. You will bridge the gap between engineering, product, and safety teams, driving the strategy that ensures our perception, planning, and control modules meet the highest standards of automotive safety and reliability.

- Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy and roadmap for the autonomous driving stack, aligning with company milestones and safety goals.
- Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers. Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and accountability.
- Process Ownership: Establish and refine QA methodologies, focusing on the integration of SOTIF and Functional Safety standards into the testing lifecycle.
- Test Framework Oversight: Lead the design and scaling of automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable deployment cycles.
- Data-Driven Validation: Oversee the analysis of massive datasets from simulation and real-world testing to identify critical edge cases and system regressions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary QA point of contact for software developers, systems engineers, and product managers to resolve architectural bottlenecks and complex defects.
- Quality Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for software quality, providing transparent reporting to executive leadership.
- Resource Management: Manage testing infrastructure, including virtualization (Docker) environments and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) resources.
Basic Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 6+ years in Software QA/Testing, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or senior-level role in high-tech products involving hardware integration or safety-critical systems.
- Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Linux environments, Python/Bash scripting, and containerization (Docker).
- Testing Expertise: Proven track record of designing test architectures for complex systems.
- Lifecycle Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and modern CI/CD practices.
- Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to articulate technical risks to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Safety Standards: Expert knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21448 (SOTIF).
- Sensor Expertise: Hands-on experience with autonomous vehicle sensors (LiDAR, Camera, Radar, Ultrasonic, or IMU), including data acquisition, calibration validation, and noise analysis.
- Simulation & Hardware: Advanced experience with AV simulation platforms (e.g., CARLA, Gazebo) and vehicle protocols (CAN, Automotive Ethernet).
- Tooling: Experience implementing and managing enterprise-level tools like Jira, TestRail, and automated reporting dashboards.
- Project Management: Experience in project planning and resource allocation for large-scale software releases.
