POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Facilities Engineer with experience in the management, execution, and day-to-day support of building and plant operations, including labs, manufacturing plants, utilities, equipment, and systems. This individual will work closely within the Facilities and Engineering group, providing support by assisting with the planning and execution of renovations within clean suites. 

Shift: rotating overnight schedule (6pm-6am), 3 days on 4 days off, 4 days on 3 days off.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule, coordinate, and oversee outside service providers for routine CM and PM Program tasks provided under building, system, or equipment maintenance contracts.
  • Support with PIDs, HVAC, electrical, one-lines, and process flow diagrams (PFDs).
  • Support the team with active construction.
  • Ensure all CM and PM Program tasks are completed and documented properly according to policies and procedures.
  • Perform, schedule, coordinate, and oversee emergency troubleshooting and repair on various HVAC, mechanical, utility systems, and lab and manufacturing equipment (GxP and non-GxP).
  • Assist with the planning and execution of renovations within the clean suites.
  • This work will be conducted during weekly production turnover periods, necessitating support on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the project lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, regulatory affairs, or a related field.

Technical Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of Project/Facilities Engineering experience or experience working as a General Contractor, Construction Manager, or Subcontractor.
  • Facilities background preferred.
  • Prior Process Equipment, CAPEX & GMP experience.
  • Experience with equipment watch rounds, vendor escorting and supervision, work order management systems, equipment troubleshooting, and minor repair.
  • HVAC system experience.
  • Must have strong collaboration, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • The position requires a highly motivated, independent, detail-oriented team player. Good organization, initiative, and a collaborative attitude are essential.

COMPENSATION:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,000.00 yearly in our lowest geographic market up to $90,000.00 yearly in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
