We are currently seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for school nursing assignments, supporting students throughout the academic day in a safe, structured environment.
About the Role
As a School Nurse (LPN) with Serene, you will provide 1-to-1 care for students during school hours, ensuring their medical needs are safely managed so they can fully participate in their education.
This is an ideal role for nurses seeking:

You will work closely with RNs, school staff, parents, and care teams to deliver attentive, professional care throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1-to-1 nursing care to assigned student(s)
- Monitor and manage conditions such as asthma, seizures, diabetes, and other chronic needs
- Perform clinical tasks including:
- Medication administration
- G-Tube feedings
- Trach and ventilator care (if applicable)
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with care teams
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the student during school hours

Requirements
- Current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Experience with G-Tube, Trach, or Vent preferred (training available)
- Reliable, professional, and compassionate
- Strong communication and documentation skills

Schedule Options
- School hours (typically Monday–Friday, daytime shifts)
- Full-time and part-time positions available
Compensation
- $35 – $38 per hour
- Weekly direct deposit
