We seek a talented and team-oriented Engineering Intern to add to our team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers in day-to-day activities
• Sourcing components to an engineer’s specification
• Assist in creating purchase requisitions per an engineer’s specification
• Contacting vendors for the parts status of ordered components
• Assist in documenting the “As-built” state of various complex assemblies and machines
• Assist in some electro-mechanical assembly activities
• Assist Engineers and Functional Leaders in locating and organizing digital content
• Assist in some inventory and part location moves
• Perform research projects in a variety of areas, including energy consumption and conservation
• Assist with social media strategy as it relates to attracting future technical talent

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline
• Passion for 3D Printing, Additive Manufacturing, Metallurgy, or Electro-Optics
• Strong commitment to safety and creating a safe culture
• Familiarity with the MS Office suite
• Use of basic hand tools
• Physical requirements

Preferred:

• Experience with 3D Modeling and CAD systems

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and bend for long periods
