Compensation:
The compensation range for this junior-level sales role, with 1-2 years of experience, is $45,000 - $50,000 gross USD per year. This range reflects the skills, knowledge, and expertise brought to the team, ensuring competitive and fair pay within the industry. There's also a Commission Structure in place for the position.
About the Role:
We're looking for a high-performing, emotionally intelligent Sales Development Representative (SDR) who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to grow within a rapidly scaling team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their sales career while working on a mission-driven product that empowers consumers and drives growth for our merchant partners.
As an SDR at Sezzle, you’ll be on the front lines of our sales efforts, sparking conversations with prospective merchants, scheduling meetings for our Account Executives and Sales Directors, and hitting monthly outreach goals using a suite of modern sales tools. What You'll Do:
- Qualify inbound leads and develop relationships
- Generate outbound sales opportunities through various outreach strategies, including email, calls, video messaging, social media, and more.
- Coordinate product demonstrations between Sezzle Account Executives/Sales Directors and prospective merchants
- Track communication and engagement via Salesforce and Salesloft
What We Look For:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)
- 1+ years of sales experience
Preferred Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRMs – Comfortable logging activity and staying organized.
- Proven outbound experience – Skilled in cold calling, high-volume emailing, and multichannel outreach.
- Strong communicator – Clear, persuasive, and professional in written and verbal interactions.
- People-oriented and customer-focused – Energized by building relationships and helping others succeed.
Detail-oriented and organized – Attentive to lead quality, follow-up, and tracking results. - Self-motivated with a growth mindset – Takes initiative, embraces feedback, and continuously seeks improvement.
