About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Revenue Systems Administrator who has the intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and experience to understand complex problems and simplify them. As a member of our lean, high-output team, you have the exciting opportunity to make a big impact. We are looking for a proactive self-starter who brings creativity and solutions to the table. If you thrive in environments where you own your work end-to-end and are energized by tackling open-ended problems, this role is for you.The Revenue Systems Administrator is a senior-level, individual contributor role on the Revenue Operations team, reporting to the Director of RevOps. This role is responsible for the administration and optimization of Sezzle’s existing Revenue systems, as well as the configuration of new tools and processes for the Revenue team. Most notably, the role owns Salesforce as a platform, including data architecture, workflow automation, and integrations, and serves as the primary owner of AI-powered systems for our go-to-market (GTM) teams.
This role demands a deep understanding and technical expertise as it pertains to Revenue system architecture and dataflow, as well as a familiarity with GTM teams, such as Sales and Customer Success. This person should be comfortable working closely with both engineering and GTM teams, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

What You’ll Own

Salesforce Admin

  • Own day-to-day administration of Salesforce, including object configuration, custom fields and layouts, validation rules, flows, automations, and permission sets.
  • Maintain CRM data integrity: design and enforce robust data quality standards, run audit processes, and own resolution and escalation of data issues.
  • Partner with the Revenue Systems Engineer on technical architecture decisions, using layered Salesforce knowledge with contextual understanding to collaborate on builds and automations.

AI & Revenue Tool Admin

  • Champion AI tool adoption across the Revenue team, ensuring AI and existing tooling are used together for maximum efficiency in day-to-day workflows.
  • Configure AI-powered workflows, agents, and prospecting tools (via Clay) and manage MCP and AI agent tooling for the Revenue org in collaboration with Sezzle’s AI team and the Revenue Systems Engineer.
  • Own development, continued optimization, and team adoption of shared AI skills and prompts for GTM teams.
  • Own platform administration for our Customer Success platform (Vitally) and other core Revenue tools (e.g., Salesloft, Docusign), including configuration, integrations, user management, and ongoing optimization.
  • Manage cross-platform integrations and data syncs (e.g., Salesforce <> Vitally, Salesforce <> Clay), ensuring seamless data flow between systems and troubleshooting sync issues.
  • Conduct regular feature audits to ensure the team is utilizing tools to their full potential and flagging cost-saving or consolidation opportunities.
  • Own onboarding and training for administered tools, including new hire onboarding and refresher training as needed.

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Develop a deep understanding of Sales and Customer Success workflows to ensure platform configurations reflect real business processes, not just technical defaults.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into actionable tool configurations, serving as the bridge between the business side and the technical side of the team.
  • Proactively identify process gaps and pain points across the Revenue org and propose solutions before they become escalations.

Reporting & Insights

  • Build and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards that give Revenue leadership visibility into pipeline health, account status, and team performance.
  • Measure the success of operational programs against team goals, such as pipeline generation, account growth, and team efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience (100+ users) in a B2B SaaS or fintech environment.
  • Demonstrated experience owning Salesforce configuration end-to-end: objects, flows, validation rules, permission sets, and integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience working with modern large language model tools (Claude, etc.) to enhance productivity, research, and communication is required.
  • Ability to write and execute SOQL queries across standard and custom objects, including relationship queries, aggregate functions, and complex filters, with familiarity with governor limits and tools such as Developer Console or Workbench.
  • Strong understanding of Revenue systems data architecture and data quality best practices.
  • Basic understanding of backend system architecture and database query language to trace data flows, investigate integration bugs, and partner effectively with engineering (experience with data analysis tools e.g., Tableau, Redshift is a plus).
  • Experience administering at least one Revenue tool beyond Salesforce (Salesloft, Docusign, Clay, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and own platforms without significant oversight.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator (ADM 211) or Platform App Builder certification.
  • Ability to develop and maintain Apex-based automations, troubleshooting bugs and iterating on functionality as system needs evolve.
  • Experience with CS platforms (Vitally, Totango, Gainsight, or comparable).
  • Familiarity with RevOps workflows: pipeline management, contract lifecycle, client onboarding, account segmentation.
  • Experience working alongside or partnering with a software engineer on technical projects.

About You:

  • You have relentlessly high standards - many people may think your standards are unreasonably high. You are continually raising the bar and driving those around you to deliver great results. You make sure that defects do not get sent down the line and that problems are fixed so they stay fixed.
  • You’re not bound by convention - your success—and much of the fun—lies in developing new ways to do things
  • You need action - speed matters in business. Many decisions and actions are reversible and do not need extensive study. We value calculated risk-taking.
  • You earn trust - you listen attentively, speak candidly, and treat others respectfully.
  • You have backbone; disagree, then commit - you can respectfully challenge decisions when you disagree, even when doing so is uncomfortable or exhausting. You have conviction and are tenacious. You do not compromise for the sake of social cohesion. Once a decision is determined, you commit wholly.
  • You deliver results - you focus on the key inputs and deliver them with the right quality and in a timely fashion. Despite setbacks, you rise to the occasion and never settle.

What Makes Working at Sezzle Awesome:

At Sezzle, we are more than just brilliant engineers, passionate data enthusiasts, out-of-the-box thinkers, and determined innovators. We believe in surrounding ourselves with only the best and the brightest individuals. Our culture is not defined by a certain set of perks designed to give the illusion of the traditional startup culture, but rather, it is the visible example living in every employee that we hire.

Why This Role Matters

Government-related payments represent one of the largest and most underpenetrated opportunities in payments. Millions of consumers make essential payments every year for taxes, licensing, registration, permits, and other government-related services, yet many of these experiences remain outdated and inflexible. This role will define how Sezzle enters and wins in this ecosystem.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
