About the Role
Sezzle is seeking a Senior Account Manager, Enterprise Client Services who is best in class with a high IQ plus a high EQ. This role presents an exciting opportunity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a rapidly growing team, with abundant prospects for career advancement.
Sezzle's Enterprise Client Services team serves as the strategic partner to many of our largest and most valuable merchants. As a Senior Account Manager, you'll own a portfolio of Enterprise accounts, serving as the primary point of contact from implementation through long-term growth and renewal. You'll partner closely with Sales, Engineering, Product, Marketing, Legal, Risk, and Support to deliver an exceptional merchant experience while identifying opportunities to expand the partnership and drive revenue growth.
This is a senior individual contributor role designed for someone who can independently manage complex Enterprise relationships, confidently communicate with executive stakeholders, and proactively solve problems before they impact the merchant experience. While this role does not include direct people management responsibilities, it requires strong leadership, ownership, and cross-functional influence.
What You’ll Own
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for a portfolio of Enterprise merchants, managing the partnership from implementation through renewal.
- Develop a deep understanding of each merchant's business, goals, competitive landscape, key initiatives, and performance metrics to become the internal expert on every assigned account.
- Drive account growth by identifying opportunities to expand product adoption, launch new channels, introduce new Sezzle products, and negotiate commercial renewals.
- Own account health and retention by proactively monitoring merchant performance, identifying potential risks early, and coordinating internal teams to resolve issues before they impact the client experience.
- Lead Enterprise merchant onboarding, implementations, and new product launches by coordinating work across Engineering, Product, Marketing, Legal, Revenue Operations, Risk, and Support.
- Act as the quarterback for your accounts, ensuring internal teams remain aligned and merchants receive timely, accurate, and consistent communication.
- Translate technical discussions, internal updates, and cross-functional feedback into polished, merchant-ready communications that represent Sezzle with a single, professional voice.
- Prepare and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), executive business updates, and strategic account plans that leverage performance data to identify opportunities and guide future growth.
- Partner closely with Data & Analytics to interpret merchant performance, including approval rates, order volume, customer behavior, AOV, LTV, and product adoption, using insights to drive strategic recommendations.
- Maintain strong documentation of account history, strategic plans, launches, renewals, meeting notes, and key decisions to ensure continuity across the organization.
- Maintain high responsiveness to merchant communications while keeping internal stakeholders informed through dedicated account channels and regular updates.
- Continuously monitor industry trends, merchant performance, and competitive activity to proactively identify opportunities and risks for your portfolio.
- Embrace AI-powered tools and automation to improve productivity, streamline workflows, create client-facing materials, and deliver a best-in-class merchant experience
